Boundary Power’s range of innovative stand-alone power system (SAPS) solutions have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Australian Institute of Energy’s (AIE) 2021 WA Energy Awards for ‘Energy Innovation of the Year’.

Held to recognise the importance of sharing innovation, best practice and continuous improvement within the energy sector, the WA Energy Awards are facilitated by the Perth branch of the Australian Institute of Energy.

Formed as a joint venture collaboration between Australia’s only vertically integrated electricity company, Horizon Power, and Australian electrical, electronic and control solutions provider, Ampcontrol, our range of stand-alone power systems is solving old problems with new solutions, proving it is possible to provide reliable, high quality, cleaner power through an off-grid solution.

Our solutions range from the Nano SAPS, a stand-alone power solution designed for smaller, remote loads, through to the Kiosk SAPS, an all-climate, utility grade, off-grid power solution for remote or small communities.

Additionally, our range of SAPS solutions includes the award winning Solar Qube® stand-alone power system, a rapidly deployable SAPS solution capable of deployment from back of truck to energy export in under 90 minutes.

The Solar Qube® SAPS rapid deployment methodology is a result of thoughtful engineering and manufacturing practices, with the solution awarded both a Good Design Award for ‘Engineering Design’ and a Hunter Manufacturing Award for ‘Excellence in Product Design’.

The ‘Energy Innovation of the Year’ accolade will be awarded at this evening’s WA Energy Awards ceremony.
