Following our recent Good Design Award for ‘Engineering Design’, Boundary Power’s Solar Qube® stand-alone power system (SAPS) solution is a finalist in the 2021 Hunter Manufacturing Awards.

The Solar Qube SAPS solution has been shortlisted in the ‘Excellence in Product Design’ category, a nod to the thoughtful engineering and manufacturing principles integrated within the solutions design.

Held to inspire and encourage vibrant and enduring manufacturing within the Hunter Region of New South Wales, the Solar Qube® was nominated by Boundary Power’s joint venture partner, Ampcontrol, in recognition of the extensive design and manufacturing process that was undertaken within the region to transition the solution from concept to reality.

The Solar Qube® SAPS is leading the energy transition, making it possible to replace traditional poles and wires networks with an off-grid, clean power solution.

Full workshop assembly and swappable sub-components facilitate rapid deployment, with the solution capable of deployment and energy export within just 90 minutes.

The 2021 Hunter Manufacturing Awards will be held via a virtual ceremony from 7:30pm AEDT, Friday 15th October.
